I am so proud of my mini teachers in 2BH.
In our maths lesson today, my mini teachers helped their students to read out maths problems and then supported them to write number sentences and explain how they could be solved.
The children showed patience, understanding and kindness throughout the lesson.
Well done to all the children. It was a powerful learning experience.
Well done to the children that received a free book this week for reading three times a week for ten weeks. Keep up the good work.
We are so fortunate to have wonderful Mandarin lessons delivered to us on a Friday. The children really enjoy learning how to speak and write in this lovely language.
2BH have got their first handwriting expert. Well done for beautiful, careful handwriting.
Another medal for our class chess champion too.
Keep it up boys.
Well done to all the children that received a free book this week for reading three times a week for ten weeks. Please keep it up. Reading is so important for everyone.
We have three more champions this week. Two for their amazing artwork and one child for work in English. Congratulations also for another chess medal.
Finally, we had a congratulations assembly to celebrate so many amazing achievements, from reading and phonics to maths and geography work.
I’m very proud of you all.
On Friday we ended the week with a fun filled Diwali part. We played party games, danced to traditional Indian music and enjoyed plenty of party food.
I didn’t realise how many amazing dancers we had in 2BH!
What an amazing day! We celebrated 30 years of Universal Children’s Day by dressing in blue and learning all about the rights of the children.
Each child made a pledge related to their rights and posted it. We also created some lovely bunting with one of the rights they liked.
They are such a lovely class and all made some lovely comments.
